Hello beautiful people, We live in crazy times right now.
Covid-19 throws everything we were surtain of upsite down and makes us rethink our lives.
Or perhaps this is because we have more time to reflect.

The life and health of ourselves and our love ones.
A home to turn to and feel safe.
The fact that we can still breath, hear, smell, taste, see..... and paint of course :-) !  Life is so vulnerable and precious!
This painting TROUBLE IN PARADISE is all about the feeling of unsurtainty that we all experience at this moment in time.

It was inevitable; I had to paint my favourite landscape.
My husband and I like to make long walks into the rural   countrysite. We love the woods of Montferland,
 Bergherbos, 't Peeske.
At sunset the landscape turned into gold.
So I took pictures and  gave  it my best.
But first I had to overcome my fear of landscape-painting.
It turned out in a abstract-landscape.
Of course my favourite form turned up again!
